A series counts once, regardless of how many of its episodes feature them.
A thread follows one event or historical theme across the archive, wherever and whenever it appears. Pulling a thread opens up a narrowed timeline view filtered to every year that thread touches.
Institution
A major illicit drug-trafficking organization and network that emerged out of Colombia in the late 1970s and came to dominate the international cocaine trade going into the 1980s. Pablo Escobar, perhaps the group's most famous leader, personally amassed billions of dollars over the course of his criminal career.
