Battle of the Pyramidspull it on the timeline

Event

The confrontation fought in the shadow of the Pyramids of Giza between the forces of Napoleon's Egyptian expedition and Murad Bey's Mamluk forces under the banner of the Ottoman Empire. The battle was a total victory for the French, securing the way to Cairo and breaking the power of the Mamluk forces in Lower Egypt, though the French defeat at the Battle of the Nile soon after would damper much of its success.

Battle of Austerlitzpull it on the timeline

Event

Napoleon's crowning victory over the forces of the Third Coalition in 1805. Through careful selection of the terrain and swift movement of his forces, Napoleon was able to lure coalition forces into a fatal trap. Though the victory and the close of the War of the Third Coalition would not end fighting on the European continent for long, the resulting Peace of Pressburg would have a number of repercussions on the European political landscape, including, ultimately, the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire.

Event

The culmination of Napoleon's Hundred Days Campaign to restore himself to power over the French Empire and resoundingly defeat the forces of the Seventh Coalition.
