The Scriptorium

Who tells our history

A scriptorium was the room where a medieval manuscript was made: scribes, illuminators, and rubricators, each working at their own craft. Here you will find information about the people behind the titles held in the Period Piece archive: the directors, writers, actors, costume designers, historical consultants, and more who helped bring history to life as well as the financial and critical reception to their work.
